21 November 2014

Detroit DD13 and DD15 customers throughout Australia and New Zealand can look forward to additional benefits and inclusions to the class-leading EW2 warranty for their on-highway engines.

As of 1 November 2014, all DD13 or DD15 owners will experience enhanced EW2 warranty protection for added peace of mind on the road, including: no up-front costs, paid towing and no deductibles.

The all-new coverage enhancements are an exciting addition to our already renowned, industry-leading warranty, and underline Detroit’s commitment to further support its DD13 and DD15 customers in Australia and New Zealand.

According to Kevin Dennis, Director of MTU Detroit Diesel Australia’s On-Highway Business: “The DD13 and DD15 products have proven to be exceptionally reliable, and the new warranty is just another way that we deliver Detroit customers with the best service support available on the market today.”

Currently there are over 3,500 DD13 and DD15 engines in service across Australia, some 300,000 plus units operating across the globe, and with many engines clocking up over 1.2 million kilometres.
